Re: Life can be a Pain

@Appleblossom

It's good to see you there Apple - even short messages are good.

I'm pretty sure your weather is pretty similar to Melbourne weather - they said we would have a sunny day - ah - I'm still waiting for it to happen.

What we say in Melbourne is true - "If you don't like the weather just wait a few minutes and it will be different" - and as for showers.

If they say showers and it doesn't rain you just aren't where the showers were - and if it rains all day they say - well - we didn't say how long the shower would last.

All the best my good friend

Thanks @Appleblossom ❤️

Re: Life can be a Pain

Dear @Zoe7 Hope your back settles.

The only thing that works for me is to keep active and do stretches and strengthening exercises. Having good advice helps and I look online as well.

How is your shoulder going @Owlunar2 I did not weigh it down too much. I hope.

I am feeling good today after a music day and a lovely chat while driving with a friend.  Also a lovely surprise to play a beautiful old instrument.  A challenge but the right level for me.

Ahhh ... finding the right thing to stretch us ... but not too far ... so as to break us.  We do grow frail in many ways... but strength is also possible.  Vive la Musica

Re: Life can be a Pain

I see my GP tomorrow @Appleblossom so should have some answers. Then I see the neurologist next week so not long now to wait.

Glad you had a nice day yesterday - always lovely hearing about your music and the love you have for it 💕

I have been trying to set my image into the little icon circle - however - I have been using a different email address and there are no image in my account - so - hopefully if I post this one here - it will find my images

Thanks so much - I love this little picture - it is really precious to me

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hi @Zoe7

Thank you - thank you - thank you - I have it - it's there

I am so please - I felt all discombobulated without my identifying image - and even my original username is still there actually - still - stranger things happen at sea.

I will be thinking of you was you sort out your back problems with your specialist and GP - I know how back pain can drag someone down - it's exhausting.

The last few weeks - well - months actually - have been challenging - I don't know how to give up though - and don't want to - yesterday was not a good day but today - wow

The weather is great - I feel a lot better - and my washing is dry - also - a friend has leant me a really good book..

All the best

Re: Life can be a Pain

So pleased it worked for you @Owlunar2 ...and even more so that you are having a good day today. I have been laying down/sleeping most of this weekend as I have taken a break from pain relief to negate the side effects ...can't do it anymore though as I need to get some work done before tomorrow. Thankfully I see my GP tomorrow after school so hopefully will get some answers even before I see the specialist next week.

Re: Life can be a Pain

I certainly hope it is all going well for you @Zoe7

Back problems drain us - they are so exhausting

I am thinking of you

It's really good to have my pictures back - or rather - the owl one - now I know how to get the others I have on my desktop - I used to use pictures all the times and really enjoyed the captions I wrote

Re: Life can be a Pain

It was a dead possum in the wall cavity  @TAB  -  as@tonys said  - possums are not mechanically capable for running around in roof void and stink to high heaven when they die - and those smells move around on air currents - I had my front and back doors open when I cooked my dinner and blow flies were deafening trying to get through the screens

All over now  - thank goodness and the rats have moved out too - I've had mice and cockroaches in the past  - not pleasant either

I miss my cat - I would love another one but I'm past managing a pet

All the best Tabby Cat
