Hi Beautiful @Shaz51
Hello @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope
It's much trickier to get time on here with my boy home. He's keeping me on my toes, oh boy!!!! Hope you are all well x

I hope there is good follow up in place, so its not all on you.
I met my sons father today and we went thru his unit, gathered 3 bags of requested stuff, delivered it. So all over Melb today, but home well before curfew.
Hey

Extra Hugs @Shaz51
Just glad I met you and have walked along this caring journey with you on an almost daily basis.
My friend who died had a good life and went peacefully. Funeral next week. There is a spot for me, but it will be over 100k drive.

Hi @Appleblossom I am sorry to learn of your loss. 🌹❤️
@Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member @Shaz51 I'm sorry to you all,
I feel so out of touch I don't know what's going on for any of you. I want to reply on many occasions but then I don't want to seem flippant when I have no idea what's happening so I'm just thumbs upping hoping that I don't come across as uncaring.
Yes Apple we have appointments booked for most days to help him but he's manic ATM and I'm exhausted.

Thank you @Former-Member and thank you for being there over the years.
The intensity of mania is so difficult to manage during lockdown. Yes exhausting. My boy is sounding of meds. Appointments every day sounds good. We were talking about private health cover for our boy. Is that what you have?
Half of Melbourne is on a "boil drinking water order" due to storm damage.
Had me 2 cuppas today, better get moving.
Cheers All

Yes. It's been my saving grace. Each admission equates to half my annual salary. I changed my provider as the old one had a co payment as well as a payment for any additional nights above the standard, so the first ever admission hurt financially. I highly recommend shopping around not only for price but cover.

@Anastasia, our Older Daughter has private health insurance too. Without it, clinic admissions would be out of the question. It's also been helpful when she's needed specialists for other reasons, and the public system equivalent was either unavailable or had a long waiting list.
