Re: not coping

Sad... find a better psych @outlander ??? I don't know if you get along with your psych. It just hurts to know that people can get the help they deserve because of money.

Re: not coping

Re: not coping

@outlander wow yeah the unexpected lump sums really can send ya spinnning hey!! Maybe still worth at least noting it with your psych? So like, this doesn't happen again at the very least.

sooo frustrating 😓

Re: not coping

Fair enough @outlander you do what feels right.

Does this impact the therapeutic relationship for you?

Re: not coping

i dont know yet @Jynx its just hard when i struggle to afford therpay as it is. im not on ndis or workcover so everything comes out of pocket. i dont even have any mh care plan sessions left till next year now so no rebates either. i get about 80 back from my insurance out of 220 but i only have about 3 sessions left for that too so by august there wont be anything except out of pocket expenses
she helps sometimes but i think at the moment i dont really want to speak to anyone because its just repetitive and im sure it bores everyone with no progress happening.

Re: not coping

@outlander maybe a break is needed? We are allowed to take a step back from the intense parts of recovery from time to time!

Plus, if it is creating more stress than it is resolving, sorta defeats the purpose!

Not an easy decision to make though, and would probably mean needing to find other supports, which can be its own stress.

I wish I had an easy answer for you hun 😞💜
