Aye very true @Snowie I would also feel less inclinced to be honest if it felt like the person was literally just there to tick some boxes. And like... maybe that's not the right place for that disclosure in terms of how much of a mental barrier you gotta push through to be able to express it. As in, if it is going to require a lot of mental energy to talk about it, then you might as well ensure it is in a context where the disclosure will be recieved in a compassionate and supportive way. Would that be with your psych for instance?
