Hey fam, hope you're all doing well.
I made a playlist of songs that help me understand and go with my bipolar
Songs and playlists really really help me to process and reconcile my emotions and experiences, and make me feel understood and not alone. I make them for a lot of aspects of my life, especially when i have a lot of emotions to process. I'm sure i'm not the only person like this 🙂
The video for 'psych ward' is a bit frightening so don't watch it if you're not into that stuff - i'm certainly not
Crazy - Art of Sleeping
Unwell - Matchbox Twenty
Crazy - Supertramp
Hello World - The Saddle Club
The Isle of Arran - Loyle Carner
Miserere - The Cat Empire
A.O.K - Adrian Eagle
Bent - Matchbox Twenty
Psych Ward - Okay Kaya
Welcome to Hell - Plan B
Days of Elijah - Robin Mark
Love & Hate - Michael Kiwanuka
Roll up your Sleeves - Meg Mac
Getting Better - The Beatles
The Impression That I Get - The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Share songs that have helped you work out your brain and experiences as you like!
Warm regards, Jenn 🙂

Hey there @Jenn4,
I love this thread that you've started. I've been trying to think of songs that help me process different emotions and I'm still thinking...
In the meantime, I really like the mood of this song, it has a sense of 'wonder' to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9b4F_ppjnKU
Does anyone else have any songs that they play when they're going through a tough time, or to inspire them, or get through the day?

Try Biily Joel, "Summer highland falls" & "You may be right."
"Madness" by Madness.
"Rock and roll is where I hide" by Dave Graney n the coral snakes.
Ben Lee "Catch my disease" topical but maybe bad taste?
Bernard Fanning "Wish you well".
Def fx "Psychoactive summer".
Skunk anansie "I can dream"
Insurge"Political prisoners"
Swoop"Apple eyes".
"Addicted to base" Josh Abrahams
"Another lonely day" Ben Harper
Enjoy!

When I was a kid growing up in the 60s, Johnny O'Keefe was one of the very few
people in Australia who went public with his mental health struggles.
Well I can't do nothin' with the blues I got
But sing, sing, sing
I guess the only thing to keep me from-a blowing my top
Is to sing, sing, sing
I'm gonna sing a little song that has a rockin' beat
I'm gonna sing (sing) sing (sing) si-i-ing
Then a-tell-a my troubles to the friends I meet
I'm gonna sing, sing, sing
